Currently there is no strong evidence that coloured overlays and filters are effective in improving visual function in patients with specific learning difficulties. WHAT IS IRLENS SYNDROME?

Irlen syndrome also referred to as Visual Stress is a perceptual processing disorder. This is not an optical problem. It is a problem with the brains ability to process visual information.
